I have a boxwood vogelzang stove right now which heats up my garage where I have it installed and also heats the house with fans blowing the air around. But feel like it burns alot of wood and the seams keep falling apart. So I just ordered and waiting for Pleasant Hearth 1800 Sq ft Wood Burning Stove WSL-1800 do be delivered from the reviews seems like a good stove. My main question if anyone has one how good is it on wood and how long you can get out of it on a night burn when you go to bed?

How tall is your chimney?

Um I don't think so. I have no idea what your talking about
Gonna install wood burning stove and gonna do a 90 right off the top of the stove to a two foot pipe going out the wall to a T then have a 30 degree elbow going up 8 feet. Main question is it ok to have a 90 right off the stove. Is the draft gonna be ok to have fire in my stove?
This one you talked about in october

I did not do that set up. Found it was easier going straight up through the ceiling and roof.
Ok good. 12' is about the minimum required

Do you have a Pleasant Hearth 1800 Sq ft stove?
LOL, ...YES
I am following your thread. I am installing one myself. It's the next size up.
Still waiting for delivery. First thing I'll do is a pre burn out doors to off gas and set the paint. I also will see if it will be practical to make the ash drawer a sealed unit so the floor can be replaced with a cast iron grate. I want a stove that is easy to clean. The small clean out hole in the bottom isn't very useful according to most owners. From what I see in the pics, I can understand why. I will have mine up and heating in about 3 weeks.

I have the pleasant hearth 1800 and would not recommend it. I’d say spend a little more and get a better quality stove. I find it hard to control and i don’t get burn times longer than a few hours. Is your chimney 12ft total or 12ft off the roof?

It's Little over 12 feet total. I have a boxwood stove now but was hoping this would be more efficient on burning less wood .
