Hello Everyone,

This is my first post and I am glad I found this form. I have a Harman Accenture Insert. It seems that my ignitor went out so I figured I can start in manually until someone comes out to change it.

I switched to manual and bought a propane hand help torch. After starting up the pellets, the pellets are burning and I turn the combust fan is on. However, the distribution fan never comes on and eventually the pellets burn out after about 20 minutes. After running test mode it seems that the combust fan, distribution fan and feeder all work.

Am I missing something? Is my distribution fan broken? Why can't I start the stove manually?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks so much,
Steven

Are you sure it's actually the igniter and not that the stove is plugged up with ash, especially the igniter compartment under the burn pot ? What you are describing sounds like a dirty stove. The Accentra has some passages to be cleaned regularly that aren't obvious at a glance. A plugged stove or vent pipe reads no vacuum and so the auger motor won't turn on to feed pellets.
