I'm hoping to build a house this spring, and want to use a wood/electric combo unit for the primary heat source (electricity is really cheap where I live, but wood is even cheaper!). I installed an Englander Add-on in my last house, as a stand-alone unit and loved it, but want the electric backup option for when we travel, and also want the increased efficiency and better designed blower of a higher-end furnace.

Anyway, I'm looking for any pros and cons that would help me lean one way or the other for the Napoleon vs. PSG Max Caddy. After my initial review, they seem pretty similar. Also, anyone have any recent prices or dealer recommendations (I'm in northern NY, and travel to both Quebec and Ontario fairly frequently).

Thanks!
