Hi everyone-

Macman was helping me with previous post and prompted these questions from me-

Not sure if the installer hooked up fan wrong. Blower has two settings H and L. L setting blows a stream of heat about 2feet out. When switched to H maybe three inches from stove heat pipes. That doesn't seem right...but I am a newbie!

The above makes me think the heating switch is the same but I cannot tell as either setting seems the same. Question the heat settings....does this just drop more pellets in the (more heat) or something else?

I can't comment on the blower part, as I never owned a Quad CB1200, but the heat sttings are usually the same on most stoves....the higher the heat setting, the more pellets drop (more heat).

Maybe try contacting Jay (jtakeman)...he has a quad, and is very willing to help if he can.

Hope I may be of some help....... by looking at the schematic, I would say that either of 3 things is happening.... either the switch is faulty .... or a wire is open from the back of the switch to the blower or.... the blower is faulty on hi..... that's my best guess...... if you are not good with electricity, get someone to look at it before you curl more than your hair..... :gulp: .... :-)
