I bought an Isle Royale in 2010. It has been a good woodstove.
I am installing new gaskets for the second time and have a question about the gaskets on the front door.
See the two photos showing the front view and and rear view of the doors removed from the stove.
The old gaskets are still installed on the doors.
After the left door is closed, the right door can be closed.
The right door's lip overlaps the left door and the right door handle locks the doors.
The right door's lip presses on the gasket on the front of the left door.
My question is should the right door have a gasket on its lip where it meets the left door?
I don't think it should because this would make a gasket to gasket seal when closed.
I don't see anywhere else on the stove where there is gasket to gasket contact.
Please check your Isle Royale and let me know.
