Anyone know of a source for second hand metal burnpots? Cheapest on internet is EarthSense for $439. Anyone ever try to weld a crack or just can't weld the pot metal. thanks

Check with a local welding shop. Cast is weldable but it difficult. Brazing it can repair a crack. You don't see many 1000's but they are out there.
ok thanks , wonder if its worth it, may see what local wleder thinks, after cold weather perhaps, its actually a developing hole near the rim, will take it out and evaluate further.
