What size hearth pad do I need for a corner install on the classic bay 1200? Will 36 inches on the sides be enough, or do I need the 40 inch size?

I'm getting overloaded at this point and just can't think!

The book says 40-5/8" w x 40-5/8" d

This may help

Thanks!

I have the same set up....just look at the specs in the owners manual. It will tell you distances for clearances to combustibles and distances for hearth pads extending from the stove. Can't remember the side distances, but I know it was at least a 6 inch extension from the front....
