I am replacing the auger on my 10 year old Accentra Insert. When I removed the old one, there was what appears to be a rubber gasket between the Bearings Flange and the receiving spot on the stove. I can't find any mention of this part in my manual or on this forum. When I removed it, a quarter of the rubbery circle was already gone. It came of in pieces. I assume I need to replace this as well. Does anyone know what I'm talking about? Sorry if it's vague.

There may have been a small gap that had been sealed with RTV silicone. I have removed BOTH of the augers
on my Harmans & neither had an o-ring in the system.

I showed the piece of rubber to my stove guy when I went to pick up the new auger and he said it was just silicone and not needed. Thanks! Unfortunately, my new auger did not solve my problem. I think I'll start a new thread with that issue!
