When shutting down stove does auger stop completly right away? mine still feeds at a slow rate. Is this normal? Auger stops after about 15 minutes.

agreed, totally normal.

Test fired mine outside on a skid last night in preparation for it's install and it did the same thing when I shut it down. I thought it was strange too.

I believe the auger continues to run to remove the pellets from it while at t he same time not allowing pellets to fall into the auger. This prevents any fire from going up into the hopper. This was what was explained to me several years back.

The stove does not know if it will be shut down for 10 minutes or ten months. It clears the auger tube before a total shut down.

My XXV does the same thing, feeds a little bit after turn it off. Never really thought much about it untill now, but it makes sense that it would clear the pellets out of the feed tube prior to shut down. Pretty smart thinking on Harman's part. I have seen a few posts of people who's feed tubes are jamed with pellets from the stove sitting.

Yeah mine does that too, always wondered why, that makes sense, thanks for the insight.
