I have my wood stove in my pole barn that has the corrugated steel walls it's about 2 feet away from the wall could I use concrete board screwed to the 2x4s to make a barrier between the stove and metal walls ?

Probably could, but a picture would help a lot to see if there are other issues.

The stove is a older king 632 and the studs are wood with powder coated corrugated steel walls

That stove will require 36" clearance in all directions from the nearest combustible.
