went to look at a lopi leyden this moning which has legs, and on friday i looked at a harman accentra (no legs).besides the fact that these are 2 different stoves,is there any difference as far as performance for any stove with legs or without?
thanks again everyone.

performance wise there shouldnt be any difference as the difference is cosmetic, however if you are installing in a mobile home , the leg version may not be usable im not aware of a leg model that is certified for mobile home installation. there may be one out there but i do not know who makes it.

No performance difference but when I was looking for a stove
many of them with legs had a smaller ash pan than the pedestal
type. In the end I chose the pedestal style for the larger ash pan.
