Hello,

We are considering purchasing the Regency CI2700/HI500 wood insert stove.
We want to fully understand the temperature monitoring procedure, so we can properly
engage the catalytic converter. It looks like from the manual that will have a wire hanging on the outside
of the stove to connect a monitoring device for temperature. Is this is how it is done? Are there other ways
to avoid a wire from hanging out of the stove?

For current owners, are you happy with the stove?

Thank you for any help you can provide!
Gino

There is a wire going to the temp display but most of it is tucked behind the faceplate. Stove operates well and heats almost an entire floor of our house. The one gripe I have is black glass.
