Hi Everyone. I was on the fence for a while about Lopi large Flush mount insert and regency hampton hi 2450 insert. I liked the look of regency, we wanted one that went out onto the hearth. I knew Lopi would work well, since we owned a Lopi stove in our old house and loved it, but didnt like the look being flush and we didnt have the space for a stove. It was a hard call since I know Lopi burn great, but I really dont like the flush look. We got Hampton hi 2450 installed last Friday, the guy told us to take it though a process of burns to fully warm up than cool down, once that was done we started burring wood more. But this is bleeding through wood SO FAST, is this normal? I try to low burn it but then the glass starts getting dark so I know their is build up starting which we don't want. Any suggestions or tips? Am I doing something wrong? Is there such a thing as too dry of wood, we have 9-12% tested on a moisture reader. I am starting to have buyers regret that while I did not like the flush mount I know Lopi is a great insert.

Someone help so I dont regret this!
