Regency Hi Hampton 2450 Oversized in Enamel?

Does anyone have the Regency Hampton Hi 2450 with the oversized plate in the brown enamel? If so can you PLEASE share a picture? Due to our fireplace opening we need the oversized plate and I can not find a picture online anywhere!
Also any thoughts on enamel vs the regular black? Is it just looks at that point or is there any benefit?

Hi LZ. The enamel finish is for aesthetics, and of course getting a color other than the painted black castings. Its pretty, but remember it can get chipped. There are touch up kits available, but it rarely matches up to the original look. Of course too, its typically about 500-600 dollars more in initial cost too. The good news, painted black is more readily available, generally goes with any decor, and you can paint it and the stove/insert will look new again. It won't get chipped during install either... good luck with your decision. I thought I wanted a painted black insert till my wife decided I wanted the Majolical brown... I wisely listened too.

Smart man! We splurged and got enamel at our old house it was a free standing stove and loved it! What insert do you have?

That insert was my old Pellet insert the Enviro Empress (My Avatar). Now, its a painted black steel Enviro wood stove, a Jotul Sebago DV gas stove in Blue Black Enamel, and an older Hearthstone Sterling HT gas stove in Blue Black Enamel and polished soapstone. Probably no more new stoves for us, just too expensive. Good luck with your search.
