Hi. The Regency GF40 was recommended by a local shop based on my needs and budget. The other shop in my town knocked this brand and suggested a Quadra Fire Santa Fe but it’s about $2000 more than the quote I received for the Regency. Does anybody have any insight on the above? I definitely don’t want to buy a bad unit but the Santa Fe is more than I wanted to spend. I am definitely in the “buy once cry once” mindset if there really is a difference in quality. Thanks!

Buy what you want
Regency GF40 is a well-known name around here
as is the Quadra-Fire Santa Fe Both will serve you well
as long as you maintain them.
Regency is the second line of Enviro Fire stoves same looks same parts
So buy within your budget both are good stoves
Note Buy the one the Better Half Likes!!
