I did a search to see if this topic has already been discussed, but could not find a thread on it.

has anyone removed the control board from the stove, extended the wires and mounted on the wall or other location?

If so, PICS!

Why would you want to do that? Just curious.

My install location has the control panel against a wall. I am fine with reaching in between the stove and wall but the wife won't do it. I thought I could extend the wire harness and relocate the control panel to the wall in a nice wood escutcheion.

Whatever you do just remember there is line voltage going to that control unit.

I'd enclose it in a metal box in case of an electronic component failure. (If it's not already.)

I wonder if the control needs to be exposed to moving air, to cool the components inside. They do create some heat.
