My local jotul dealer who was very reasonable in parts pricing failed and other regional quotes for replacement glass are at least double than onedayglass.com.

I am speculating that my 2005 model of Jotul Castine uses pyroceram glass. Can neoceram glass which is 1/16 in thicker than pyroceram and costs virtually the same be easily used as a replacement glass or would it potentially cause install issues? It appears the neoceram can withstand a higher temp and likely a more durable product. Any thoughts on this subject from the experts?

Another question is the height where the arch in the glass ends at 5 3/4" high?
