Scored at local golf course, they cut a bunch down this winter. Just talked to superintendent and he said go ahead take a load or two. Most was too big for me to handle. Got 2 loads.

Not sure about ash. Maybe poplar?
 
i hate to disagree... but it looks more like ash to me. just that trunk bark really looks more like ash. the other pieces are 50/50... although i would expect some pictures of some "smoother" bark if it was poplar.
 
Pic 1 (2) bottom of the pile is poplar aka aspen (white/grey smooth bark). I would have said ash for some of the other but not sure what 1 (3) is...

Edit: Looks like firewood;lol
 
A few different types, some bark there that looks like Tulip. Post some good pics of split wood. ==c
