My season is over for my wood burning insert, Regency CI2700/HI500. I noticed a small scratch on the inside glass while cleaning it. about 1/4 inch long, I can "feel" it with my fingernail. It is not a raised substance, definitely a scratch. It must have been there all or part of the season. Do I need to replace the entire door or glass or should just monitor it next season?

Thank you. I didn't mean to infer that I wanted it for aesthetic purposes. I didn't know if I scratch can compromise the integrity of the glass when temps on it can hit 1000 degrees.
See what happens when you clean your stove? I try not to even shovel the ash out! It’ll give me a smaller fire box for shoulder season next year!
