See you all in the fall

Well, my P61 is officially cleaned and closed up for the summer. Four and a half tons of pellets stored. You all have a great summer, and see you, so to speak of, in the fall.
( although I admit, Ill probably still peek in here every morning )

freebird you have a great summer aswell, its hard not to check in every now and again.My stove is also all cleaned and ready to go for the fall,with 5 tons stored in the shed.

I to am about to do my last cleaning and put a rubber cap over the exhaust for the summer.

I lit a fire a couple of nights ago and let the stove run on low for a couple of hours, but it was really more for ambiance than anything since the interior temps were still hovering about 63°... not toasty warm, but not really uncomfortable either for this time of the year. With that said, the first rainy weekend day I get, I think I'm going to be shutting down for the season as well. Unfortunately for you guys, I'm still going to be hanging around here for the summer. :cheese:

Yea, I know. Ive been running the furnace once or twice a day to keep the chill off, saving the pellets.

Got down to 40 degrees here the other night....stove still comes on now and then with the stat set at 68.

My stoves are down for the year but I will still be around here. If it wasn't for hearth.com and spam I wouldn't have any social life. :lol:

There still predicting nights in the mid 30º's here, So my stove is still ready to go just in case. I haven't burned anything in the last 2 weeks. But one never knows what Mother Nature might send our way. I plan on cleaning it for the summer right after Memorial Day weekend, Just as soon as the garden is planted. That's what I do almost every year.

Even after the summer comes I plan to check in and see what pellet deals are around. I will also report any DEALS if there is any that I find.

Don't think I'd have a life if I could not log on and see whats going on!!

Believe it or not, pellets are about the only thing I DON'T have to pay taxes on in my part of NY (besides food, and the jerks in Albany will try that sooner or later).
