I know there has been alot of questions before about battery backup, and tonight I set mine up before the first winter storm of the season.... My golf cart is directly underneath my pellet stove, so I drilled a hole and ran a cord to plug the stove in, I then re-wired the cart from 36V to 12V and installed the Harman 512H... The six 6V barrteries when fully charged will run my stove 10-12 hours!!!

That seems like a nice setup, but shouldn't you get more time then that. I read in another post were some one got that much time from one car battery, and still had enough power left to start it.

My stove can't get that out of a car battery, it only burned 2 hours using my boat battery... I had some voltage left with the golf cart batteries, but like I stated earlier, I fired the gen up once I got in from work... I'm satisfied with 10 hours...

And the fish they caught the week before was probably 36" long and weighed 20 pounds.

When are you going to drop that V-8 into the golf cart???

LOL, that V8 is out of our 74 Vette and will be rebuilt, poked and stroked and a 671 blower thrown on it...

Sounds like fun!!!! I had a 427 '69 Vette with 4 speed and side pipes in my 'earlier' days. Sold it for $3200. You think I could get it back for that?????????????? :) Not even with another 0 behind it!!!!!!! Sold a '63 Porsche 356B Super 90 for $1200 too. I am such a great bargainer. That little puppy is over $100,000 now!!!
