suggested models lto buy. ? new or used ?
anyone with experiece in whether analog or digital ? Probably a poertable one too. maybe a stationary one to keep on a desk too. What to look for?

For portable I have a Tecsun PL-880 that is pretty nice. It's digital and programable. Good reception and sound quality. I like the rechargeable battery too. It lasts a long time between charges.
