Small tree down - landed on my stacks.... heaps of pics.

Had a small tree down at the weekend - it landed on my stack for next year and my fence. It didn't do much damage only knocked a couple of splits off the top.

I cut it all up and managed to get 60 splits of 30 cm. I split it all and put it in my shed for 2022. When i finished, 3 loads of my ute, i think there is approx a cord.

It looked a lot more when it was thrown on the floor before stacking..... nice and clean firewood though - its a mountain ash - around the same BTU's as oak. ~ 750 gsm.

Too true - came down on Friday and its sat in the shed on Sunday - cant ask for better than that.

Was a nice easy score for sure - only small problem i had was the overhanging part - i didn't want to destroy my stacks so put a few pallets under and cut it and it worked like a charm. First time i have used the new 'cheapo' saw very impressed for China rip off $100 brand new.
