Smoke smell
I have a harman p43. We've had this stove for 3 years. Before that, we had a saint croix afton bay for probably twelve years. When we had the harmon put in, they just used the same piping from our previous pellet stove... when we first had it installed, I could smell smoke so they came out and siliconed the joints. Everything seemed fine, but now this year i'm smelling smoke again.. I did aluminum taped up the joints and just did the flashlight test and noticed some smoke near the the adapter ( that's what it's called like, right where it comes out of the stove) .. how do I silicone that to stop the leak??? I know to get the red rtv silicone do I just run it around? The whole outside of where the pipe meets the stove?
