Hi
I have a new pellet stove this season. It’s run very well up until now. Yesterday I pulled apart the pipe and cleaned it really good with a brush attachment to a screwdriver. I started it back up and now after burning I have a “smoky smell” in the room. Is this normal after thoroughly cleaning the pipe? I did disconnect it from the back of the stove to clean it from the outside. It’s a 3 inch pipe and it goes horizontally out the wall and then once outside goes straight up for about 4-6 feet. Please help. Should I call a service company??

Is the smell just at startup?

This should be moved to the pellet forum.
