Big song here in the Bean Town area. Never could figure out why a group from LA played a song about Boston? I know their manager Ed Cobb, wrote the song.

Ed Cobb also wrote Tainted Love by Soft Cell, which is played at NE Patriots games.
Dirty Water is played after Bruins and Red Sox games as well.
I looked Cobb up, but couldn't find where he was from.

I listened to the song before I posted it. I haven't been to a Pats game in a while, so I haven't heard it in 4 years or so. It is the "theme" song for Scott Zolack, the radio announcer for the Pats and former NE Patriots QB. They play it in the stadium every game.
I never really thought country guys could play guitar until i saw this a few years ago.

Oh please. That was drilled into my head too many times in road houses back then. That and Fresh Air, by Quicksilver Messenger Service were played constantly on juke boxes.

I can't be sure, but when I was in junior high in Nova Scotia I had a couple of 8 track tapes. One was Iron Butterfly and one was Heart, Dog and Butterfly?...right before cassettes started to come onto the scene. I don't think I ever watched that video - excellent stuff
