My cleanout door is rusted but also cracked. I can't seem to find an 8" x 10" replacement, only 8x8, 8x12, and 12x12. The outside frame sits flush with the basement concrete floor, so I can probably add a brick or something to make up the gap.
I can only seem to find CAST IRON replacements made in CHINA and highly varying prices. Some said they rusted quickly. I'm wondering if I get one, can I treat it with oil or stove polish so it won't rust.. stainless steel would be cool, but I can't seem to find them in Canada.
