I have a speedco 35 ton splitter that I'm replacing shaft seals on. I cannot for the life of get the rear gland out. Do I need a removal o ring , is there a clip inside the cylinder? Please assist me.
Thanks.

After you get the clip off the piston end it will just slide out
May take more force than expected. There is a YouTube video
that shows how much force may be needed. When I was doing it
we used a reverse hydro press. good Luck

We tried to pull it out. Had it hooked up to the truck then pulled with a tractor. Wiggled and giggled and still didn't come out. Guess we take it to the guy....
