I’m replacing a part in my stove and am confused by the directions. They call specifically for stove cement and gasket glue to be used in certain places and each is listed in the parts/tools list. It looks like the uses for both are used to bond a gasket to metal. The one reference for gasket glue is for a gasket that lies at th back/bottom of the catalyst.

Can I just use stove cement throughout of do I need to run out and get gasket glue?

Thanks!

That catalyst gets so hot that special products may be needed. A much different situation than bedding a door gasket.
