Glad ya got a good heater.

And for the record, I think the 30-NC is the best looking stove on the planet. And so does the Little Brown Haired Girl.

10-4
And hand that lil girl a dollar
I love my stove!!

Time flys so fast. It was installed the fall 2012 ( I think).
For 800 bucks it can't be beat. Home Depot even brought it to my door.
The local retail wood stove dealer tried to talk me out of buying the Englander....he said his $3,000 stove was better....been down that road before so didn't believe him....stood my ground for the Englander.

I know this is an old thread, but thought I'd give my update here.

I want to thank everyone who helped educate me here.

Bought the Englander!!
The Englander 30 NC stands on my hearth.....and I'm telling you there ain't no other stove. I couldn't be happier. It's probably 15 degrees out right now,and were warm. Thanks to you all,and Englander Stove Works.

Sure you can get a prettier stove but I'll tell you from experience....just cause it looks good doesn't mean it is good!

Make sure Bart "sends" you the T-shirt. ;) :)

I'm pretty sure there might be another stove or two out there....heheh.
he said his $3,000 stove was better...
I don't know about his particular stove, but in many cases 3K will get you a real nice rig. That said, I certainly agree that for $800 the 30 is hard to beat. I got a used Buck 91 for 1K....not too shabby a deal., I didn't think. ==c Glad the stove is doin' the job for ya...can't beat that wood heat! C'mon Bart, time to dig a shirt out of the closet. ==c

Hi, before I bought my Englander 30 I had purchased a Buck. The Englander blows the Buck out of the water. I used to think like you. The folks at Englander have it figured out.

How do I contact Bart?
I'll gladly wear an Englander shirt.

Ditto what he said!

ETA: and how do you get those signature doohickeys like this one:

"Two Englander 30-NCLs Heat Redefined (One a spare in waiting), Englander 25-PDVC
Poulan Pro 405+ 65cc, 2 Husky 142s, Chusky 5200, Poulan 1975, 1988 Duerr Splitter

Lots of people make'em. Lots of people sell'em. Hearth.com shows you how to use'em."

How about it Brother Bart . . . gonna give them their T-shirts. ;)

Alright already. Here's yer shirt. They have been on cyber backorder.
