If that happened to me I'd land on a raccoon and he'd probably be biting my feet the entire time.

I wonder if he fell the whole way down to that point or if he was trying to wiggle down to the fireplace to get out.

How do you "fall" into a 12" x 12" chimney? There's more to this story. Possibly a dim-witted burglar?

It may not have been 12 by 12 the whole way. I have been down inside quite a few chimneys but haven't been stuck yet. Close a few times though
