superior wrt4826wh new to me planning and install

Hello I have just aquired a used superior wrt4826wh. I have read over the instruction manual but when in comes to the chimney starter collar/ adapter the instructions are pretty vague. When I look down inside the top of the unit I can see the outside shell with a 4 inch knock out on the back. The baffle / catalysts bypass has a slide bar that moves when you pull a knob. For the life of me nothing I find looks like it would hook up properly. I am beginning to think I am missing a part. I am going to go with a stainless triple wall 7" pipe straight run, fire stop, roof flashing . To 3 wall brackets and 1 roof. Connecting to the fire place is my only issue.

I appreciate that I looked it up and nothing shows up listing . I am guessing it will have to have a slot in it for the bypass bar to go through. I can't find a picture of one installed. I was hoping maybe someone had a photo of a similar setup. I got the unit for free so getting the old part off them is not a option.

Yes unfortunately I can't see it or find one. I don't like the idea of a slot for the bypass if that is what they did. Always had wood stoves pretty straight forward installs and hook ups.

If the hole is 4" it is not the flue outlet. Can you post a picture of the whole top of the fireplace?

It is a 7" hole up top 4" on the back side just through sheet metal with no insolation. I believe the 4" could be for a vent but I am not using that. I just don't understand any connection design I would be comfortable with in my home. I can't find any photos of chimney connection looking at the top of fire box and adapter connections with this type of set up.

It looks like a factory start collar was removed and that this start collar had a stainless sleeve that went down past the insulation. I haven't had any luck finding this part. Has this fireplace ever been used? It's a bit rusty but it looks like new inside.

Yes he said about one season but got a pellet insert because he didn't want to cut wood. I am going to clean it up and order a cat for it if I can find the adapter. So if that starter collar went past the insulation did it connect to the top of the cast iron fire box or hovered inside over top? I have never seen a zc hooked up but that rod in the middle baffles me. The sheet metal inside is clean with no soot.

The lack of any soot is puzzling. This fireplace is made by BIS. It's called the Panorama. I've searched for a while and haven't found the proper part.
