Actually, I've heard of some people cutting large chunks of soft lead into manageable sizes using chainsaws. The lead is soft enough that a skilled operator can cut the lead without severely damaging the chain. Would I recommend doing it with a new/good chain? No, I'd be pretty nervous, but if you have one getting near the end of it's life I don't see why you couldn't try it...sksmass said:Pics please! That sounds neat.
It is good to know that a chainsaw will go right through a bullet without the operator even noticing. One less thing to worry about.
I'm already worried about hitting old sugar taps and fence wire.
