Went up north for a few days to do some odds and ends for Mom. One of the things on the "to so list" was to drop a couple dead ash . No problem, but in her township they don't allow open burning so all the small branches I loaded into my truck and took them to the township compost center.
Pulled in and first thing I see is wood all cut up and piled at end of a row. I'm more than a few years ahead (about 8
) so I'm picky but I just had to check it out. Got out of truck and before I even was close enough to make an ID I smelled OAK. Well needless to say it all took a ride back home with me! Sure doesn't get any easier than that!
