Well guys and gals, been a very informative year thanks to all that participate on this forum. By far the most knowledgeable bunch on the internet for wood burning advice. Happy New year from the Rock. Stay safe.
so.....are you going to be the first member of the forum to celebrate the new year (time zones?) Best wishes to all for a safe and happy new year....and thanks for sharing all the collective knowledge found here.......
And thank you Begreen, Brother Bart, Webbie, Pen and all the other mods on this site for keeping us newbies out of trouble with a raging box of fire in the living room.
The house is warm, the oil burner is off, and we all like to hang around the fire!
Happy new year to all and in Scotland we say " lang May your lum reek", translated to mean hope your chimney smokes a lot- not correct for this forum but the intent is that you are warm and well for the new year.
Cheers to all
Sitting here listening to some awesome blues (Eric Clapton's Crossroads guitar festival, 2013). Thinking about how awesome life can be, and hoping all of you have a safe, happy, and productive 2014. Thanks to all, here on Hearth.com, not only for the solid base of knowledge this place imparts, but for the hours and hours of obsessive and enjoyable reading.
Ooh, gotta go. Los Lobos is on.
All the best, to you and yours.
