Replaced it last year, but it seems to have died again. Looks like the parts are getting harder to get as Thelin is out of business. Does anyone know of a place to get one or if I can just find the motor on another site and attach it to the auger etc.
Thanks

BTW I am in Maine...

this place: http://thelinco.com/products/replacement-parts/index.php bought all the parts/stock from whoever last owned Thelin. They're a little slow on the delivery and customer service side of things, so probably best to give them a call. I ordered 2 parts from them, both times they took my money immediately with paypal, and both times I had to call 5-7 days later and ask them to ship the part, which they did and were nice about it.

website also isn't loading for me right now...

WOW, the prices are like medical devices. They should include installation. Really glad I checked the urge to buy the stove.

Thelin is not out of Biz, they were purchased by Sierra Products that also makes a pellet stove with the same DC motors,

How long will they last with prices that high?

Do you know their phone number, cant seem to find it online..just their webpage. Also do you know the EF model that has the same auger as the Thelin Echo?
Is it the EF3801?

With such a high failure rate of the motors, I'd check the auger to make sure it isn't binding and over stressing the motor. They're either weak motors, or being overloaded.
