i have a j.a roby ultimate,it has a large fan manifold on top.my daughter gave me a thermometer for christmas just wondering were to best place it. wrong spot my bad
With the big duct on top the only choice on the top is in front of it. It might be interesting to try placing it on the face, above the door, to the right or left of the top of the arch. Compare readings in the two different locations.
