Greetings fellow wood stove owners. I hope to stay as warm as many of you and sit down by a beautiful fireplace and keep myself and my family warm. But I have a problem....

I am getting rid of my Jotul Firelight 12 because it is too expensive to rebuild ($800 to $1000 in replacement parts).

I am looking for a top loading stove recommendation for a 1000 sq ft mobile: 20 inch logs (or close)? Of course I would like the price to be similar to my rebuild. Do you have any recommendations? Some of the brands I have heard good things about include Jotul, Napoleon and Englander. But I consider myself new to fire places. Your help is kindly appreciated in advance.

Any help would be appreciated by me and my family before the cold winter kicks in. Thank you.

As noted in the other thread I would drop the requirement for top loading. It is too narrow a field, especially if the budget is low and constrained by being in a mobile home. Napoleon, Englander and Jotul do not have any top loaders currently selling.
