[Hearth.com] Tree Bug identific
Anyone know what these are? I had a tree fall a couple days ago and started splitting today and a a rotten section had a dirt ball with these aliens in it. That is actually a tail on the back end and was wriggling. I wasn’t taking chances with the other trees around my house so I squished them. Just curious if anyone knows what these are.
 
Wow--I didn't expect to see that when I opened this thread. Did a meteor land in your area lately? Looks like something from a sci-fi movie.
