I do and have used google lens, it’s pretty good although not always, as in this case it shows the bark as oak and the leaves as ash. I am no ash expert but it definitely looks different than our local Oregon Ash.Best tool I've found is if you have a phone use Google Lens, do the leaves and the bark.
No blossoms to my knowledge and in the fall I would say normal fall color foliage, not a brilliant orange. Also does not produce nuts of any sort.At first I was guessing something in the hickory family, maybe pignut? But on the west coast, maybe Chinese pistache , chinaberry? Does it have blossoms in the spring?
Does the foliage turn brilliant orange in the fall?
Hmm I’m going to have to look those up, never heard of either! My Google lense based on the leaves gave Chinese pistachio or Arizona walnut
Very small saw tooth edges on the leaves, will try to get a better photo today. I looked up chinese pistache tree, and it has similarities but doesn’t seem quite right.I'm going to guess Elm. Not sure which kind though. Are the leaves saw toothed? hard to see in the pics.
Maybe not Elm, the leaves are not staggered off the stem.
I looked these two up and I think your right, real close to both of them. Thanks!Manchurian Ash (Olive Family), Possibly Black Ash
