So I'm buying a new home which has a Treemont wood burning stove in it...looked on line all over to try and find the specifications for installation (measurements from wall and all that stuff) and can't find them. seems as thought Treemont isn't around any longer and doesn't have a website?

any one know where I can find any info?

it's going to depend on the model. Is there no UL label on the stove back?
This is a Treemont example

Is there a hearth under it or is this a cement floor?

Sounds good, looks good too. You might still want to put a hearth board down in front to catch ash and wood crud that happens when you set splits down in front of the stove. Wood heat can be messy.
