I went to England for a month, 25 years ago. I thought at the time, that they were ahead of us in many areas, and the subsequent 2.5 decades proved this out.

Just because something isn't easy to do, doesn't mean it can't be done. They are regulating firewood moisture content.

Owners of wood burners and open fires in England will be discouraged from burning house coal or wet wood.
