First off thank you to all the members who helped me in the past to get me where I am now. I'm currently hooking up an eko 25 and was wondering if there was any more upgrades that I should do to it. I currently made it so I could adjust the primary air while the boiler is firing and I got a piece of 1/4 inch 304 stainless steel to put over the nozzle. My question is is how big too cut the piece. Should it just be a flat piece or should I make it in like a V shape. Also should I cut round holes or a rectangle slot just a hair smaller than the nozzle. And is there anything I should do to the bottom blocks to prolong their life. Once again thank you for all your great knowledge.

Check with JTWALL. He had posted about making nozzle covers a few months ago. He may be a good resource for you.

If you're just hooking it up, I think I would just concentrate on that and get it running. Do any mods in the off season after you see how it performs.
