Good morning, curious what fair value is for a used Jotul F400. Appears to be in good shape, but owner was unsure of age and didn’t see a serial # or UL sticker on the back. Thanks!

That’s not an F400 (I don’t think). The air control up top looks like an F100. With no UL tag it’s probably worth 300$. Tagged 700$ max. Ask your insurance company about installing a stove that once was UL listed but doesn’t have a tag.

Edit… I’m going to say it’s an F3cb.

So I assume that thing is similar in firebox size to the F100
It’s bigger than the f100 smaller than the F400. I think it’s like 1.2-1.3 cu ft.
 
Better for sure ask ins company about no tag.i asked mine as they are a personal friend and she told me no tag ,no insurance period
 
Ask for a side view to see if there is a big #3 on the side.

Agreed about the lack of a UL tag. That essentially turns it into an unlisted stove. You might be able to argue with the insurance company on this point, but they may not concede.
