My Huskee splitter cover is showing a lot of UV damage, way more than the cover I have on my grill on the deck even though it's under the tree line and not in direct sun light the way the grill cover is sitting on the deck. Two questions:

Is there some sort of spray on treatment I can use on them when new, or something I can put on now to prevent further damage?

Is there a way to restore damage? My wife was watching TV and saw an ad for some spray on rubber stuff that is water proof.
