Vc intrepid 1 rear heat shield

I am new to the forum and just installed a stove in my house. I love the look and function of the Classic vc stoves. I am looking for a supplier of a rear heat shield for the aforementioned stove I just emailed cozy cabins tonight but seeing if anyone has one for sale or knows of any other supplier.

since no one has an answer could someone post a picture of their intripid 1 rear heat shield so i could make my own as close to factory as possible.

The guard extends across to the other side just underneath the outlet.

Hope this helps let me know if you have any other questions. Note that there are also 4 standoffs the shield is mounted to with screw's that keep the shield back about 1.5".

Hi, first timer here. I need an Intrepid I rear heat shield also. Have you found a source?

This item is no longer available from vc. You either have to find one used or bend your own, as I did, if you have access to a brake.

Give Eric a call (610 984 2508), he buys, rebuilds and sells used VC stoves. I traded in a VC Intrepid with a rear heat shield last fall for a rebuilt VC Encore 2550 (it worked great this past winter!). Eric also sells on eBay so I know he ships UPS
