Hello-

First post.

We have a Vermont Castings Defiant NC 1610 with the fan kit. I ran the fan the first year. It was very loud and seemed to move very little air. My only point of reference is a Lopi Revere insert I have in a vacation home. The fan on that unit moves quite a bit of air and makes a significant difference in room temperature.

My question -

Is it possible the VC fan was not installed properly or are these units known to be all noise and no air?

Thanks,
Mark
