Just wanted to share newsletter I recieved today. This answers the question why dealers haven't posted inventory.

Thank you to everyone who has already submitted their pellet orders this season. We wanted to let you know about what has been happening at Vermont Wood Pellet Company over the summer and how it may affect deliveries this year.

Earlier this summer, VWP attempted to make some changes in their production system to improve efficiency. When the changes did not pan out as planned, they had to return to their original system. This set production back at least a month. They are doing their best to produce pellets as quickly as possible, and work continues on a second mill in Windsor, currently slated to open in October. Because they are shipping pellets out as fast as they are produced, any glitches in production may affect anticipated delivery dates.

We are doing our best to schedule both bagged and bulk pellet deliveries in advance, but we anticipate that flexibility and patience may be required as VWP works to meet demand. If you are tentatively scheduled for a certain delivery date, please know that changes may have to be made on short notice. We will make every attempt to avoid this - please know that we will keep you apprised of any changes as soon as information becomes available.

Thank you for your understanding.

Just picked up my last half ton today at the mill. 5 tons stacked and ready woo hoo!!
