So, I was trying to change the firebricks in my 1302 intrepid but I could not get the upper fireback in place. The "pin" going down from the fireback that are to be against the back of the front firebrick is to much in front, if I am to press the fireback against the rear chassi I think the stone will crack.
Was thinking and one solution would be that the fireback is bent, pushing the firebrickpin forward.
Anyone who knows how a fireback should look and can tell if mine looks bent?
A new one is around 100 USD in Sweden so would be nice to know before I order.
Maybe worth a try to heat up the fireback and press it back? If it fails I need to order a new one anyway.
(I placed an wellpapp pice on a pic against the backpin in order to show where the back of the firebrick would be, a couple of mm in front of the rear chassi)
