I just used what Englander supplied which was a piece of 2" O.D corrugated aluminum pipe. I put mine through the wall thimble instead of making another hole in the wall. [Hearth.com] What do you guys use for an OAK?

I have the Selkirk venting which has the oak built it it. I like the fact I didn't have to put another hole in the wall and it heats the incoming air so I don't get icing

Like bbfarm said the Selkirk pipe is nice, however as shown above and I am not sure if that is the case they do sell wall thimbles with the OAK built in. I used one on my latest St Croix install and am very happy its built right in the thimble and cost me about $140. B

Selkirk. Works great, and they gave me a heck of a deal on a new system (pipe) when the corn gasses rotted out the original. Nice to see somebody stand behind their product.

This also helps heating in the combustion air makes the stove more efficient...::DT
